• Suggest Music!

The idea is that each night, or ‘episode’ of the show is a mixtape with a theme. I’m in search of interesting music to play – this can be indie, or not, R&B or not, it just has to be GOOD. I don’t care if it’s just something you and your friends put on youtube, as long as the music is quality and it has to be something you wouldn’t typically hear on the radio.

• Suggest Spoken Word!

Another aspect of the show will be a piece of poetry/spoken word/prose/short story, etc, that will be read on the air. It may be read by me, or a special guest that I have in the studio, or by the artist themselves (either in the studio or from a CD). The piece will correspond with the theme of the show (or, if it’s really good, I’ll frame the music around the literary work.) So, I’m also in search of good works of poetic and literary genius to feature on the air. If you know of any – A favorite poem, a spoken word guy that you know, a brilliant interlude that’s on a CD you like, let me know. Also if you want to be one of my special guests who read on the air let me know and I’ll hook you up there too.

• Promote Your Event!

If you’re in the city of Richmond, or somewhere reasonably close by, let me know of any events you have in the area. It can be something on campus at UofR or VCU, or it can be a show at the Camel Club or whatever. Just let me know ahead of time.
